Competitions

At Halifax Golf Club we can rightly claim to have one of the most comprehensive Open competition calendars in the whole of the UK

The 2012 season runs from April through to September with the highlight being our Open Festival held from Sat 9th to Sat 23rd June.  The week culminates with the 36 hole Men's medal competition for the Ogden Cup and includes the prestigious John Crawshaw Scratch Open played on the blue course.

In 2012 we are running no less than 9 competitions during the Open Festival  (Click here for details) and a record total for the season overall giving plenty of choice for golfers of whatever gender, age or ability.

In addition, our Club Professional runs a monthly fourball competition on the last Tuesday of each month from April through to September.  Click here for details.

Food is always available on Open Competition days and our steward will be happy to arrange any special catering requirements.  Just call on 01422 244171 in advance.
